This hotel is in a great location. Less than a block away fom the metro and has affordable restaurants and bakeries in this neighborhood. DO NOT try the breakfast for 13 euros it's a rip-off and you don't get much for the money. Instead, walk up the street to a bakery and buy some fresh chocolate croissants to save money... more
First, let me say that the location was the best! It was mere steps to a Metro station, great cafes and bakeries around ,that seemed to be frequented by mostly locals. The hotel was under renovations, which we were not told about and we were asked to change rooms midway thru our stay. Normally I would not have a problem... more
This hotel was a good value for the price. The rooms are rather small but the staff speaks English and will help you find what you need (we needed a battery for our travel alarm clock). The breakfast is nothing fancy but a nice array of bread, pastry, juice, etc. When we went, even with the in-room air conditioner on,... more
For a mid range budget, you can't do much better than this - the hotel is on a relatively quiet street very near to La Tour Mauborg Metro station (100 yds). The rooms are clean and well presented. If possible, consider upgrading to the Superior rooms (they cost a little more) but are substantially bigger. The room we were in,... more
My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights end of July - early Aug 2005 for our 5 year anniversary (delayed honeymoon!). We really enjoyed it. The hotel is cute and quaint and although they were renovating it, it was still clean for the most part. Everything about it is small - the breakfast area, the rooms, the elevator... more
Great location... really great staff. Rooms, well not close to what you see on their site and small and quite average. Location is superb not because of the area which is ok but because you can walk everywhere from there! Internet in the rooms a bit iffy but works great in the lounge which is always empty so good place... more
Great location, half a block walk from LaTour Mauborg metro stop. Hotel has friendly, helpful staff; helped us book a tour to Giverny and our shuttle service to the airport. Our room was small room and has no minibar -- so no refrigerator for your perishables and water. We were concerned about a posted comment regarding paper-thin walls. We could... more
What a great little hotel this is. Rooms were clean, fresh sheets and towels every day and staff friendly. Room and bathroom small but comfortable and great value for Paris. Will stay there again on our next visit. more
The small frontal area of the Hotel means you may not notice it looking down the street. It is a pleasant and clean hotel with friendly staff who speak english. I stayed there on a business trip and found the rooms very clean and functional although slightly on the small side, but bigger than many places I have stayed at.... more
