Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A phenomenal location, but given the price and certain other things I think I am going to have to be more aggressive with exploring airbnb and vrbo in the future. The first room was not acceptable or what I requested (they switched me to a better room the next day) and the second room was fine, but doesn't justify the price. The breakfast was not serious and was totally lacking. We didn't recall seeing a single yogurt or piece of fruit or egg or meat. Perhaps we got there late, but that's not what I remember. The charge for it made it a very easy no. In general it was not too loud, but it could be occasionally. The beds were good. My wife liked it. I did not like the city tax. I was not aware of that till the last day. If you wish for your room to not have housekeeping service I suggest you really jam the card into the door, or it will probably fall off the door knob and they will come in. The safe is a pain and doesn't really work the way the instructions imply. But it does work. I didn't feel like I procrastinated planning my vacation, but apparently I did. The staff was reasonably nice most of the time, with the tall man in particular making a real effort and the maid, was also quite pleasant. Others were reasonably professional.

The location is the real selling point. You honestly couldn't hope for better. In a wonderful, fashionable neighbourhood with major attractions within easy walking distance. Price was very reasonable and the room (standard double) was a good size. Bathroom could do with a revamp but everything worked well and it was still very comfortable. Tiny lift that you might struggle with if you have massive suitcases. Reception staff helpful. Fridge in room was useful.

My friend and I (both in our twenties) stayed here in late August. The location was ideal for us to be able to get on the metro, RER, and walk to many of Paris’ best sights, such as the Notre Dame, the D’Orsay, and the Louvre. We booked a double room in advance through Booking.com. We got a comfortable double bed and a clean bathroom. The room was cleaned, bathroom restocked, and sheets changed every day. The room had an aircon, which was essential because it was hot and humid when we were there. The hotel was quiet overnight. Our only negatives about this hotel were that the wifi was a bit patchy, and the bathroom door didn’t close completely. Neither of these things were a big issue for us, and our stay was comfortable.

Although I am a frequent guest, who stayed 3 times before, no tolerance or understanding is shown about my non-refundable reservation that I had to postpone for health reasons. I made a double room reservation on the 28th of January 2020, for 3 nights, starting from the 1st of January 2020. But as I’m suffering from lymphoma transformation and neutropenia which makes me extremely vulnerable to any kind of infectious diseases my physician prohibited me from travelling with a very low neutrophils counts. I sent to the Hotel my medical report to prove my health situation and requested them to postpone my reservation to another date. But they didn't accept. Despite the doctor's report, they charged me the room money that I did not use.

Very friendly staff and lovely management, the rooms are small and the hotel is located near The Louvre museum. You can walk around the neighbourhood and get to know the soul of Paris. It's so authentic and beautiful. I enjoyed it so much.

Good location. Clean. Rooms smallest. If on 5th floor you have to walk the last. Quiet. Left bank near to river and many sites within walking distant. Good cafes nearby. Price seemed a little high but good location . Probably within the price range for Paris

If you're looking to stay in Saint-Germain-des-Pres and be comfortable without spending a fortune, look no further. The hotel is in a great spot and felt like fantastic value for the money. Rooms are relatively recently renovated and nicely appointed. On the small side, but not super-small. Lovely view onto a side street.

Very nice hotel in great area - very convenient for all the major tourist sites - bigger bedrooms than most Paris hotels - very clean and friendly staff. Stayed 1 night with our two children. Super hot in Paris so we were grateful for air conditioning.
