My husband and I booked our stay in the Corona Opera Hotel through Priceline. We requested a 3-star hotel, and indeed the hotel is officially ranked as 3 stars, but didn't feel like it -- it is pretty dumpy and our roomy was teeny tiny. HOWEVER, I would still recommend it because of its good location (at the south end... more

We came to Paris on the Euro Star for my partners 40th birthday we had read previous reviews and even tho they were somewhat mixed decided to try the Corona and we are so pleased we did. On arrival down a little side street with other small hotels the hotel looked nice and the receptionist was very helpful provided us... more

Our trip to Paris was tarnished by this unsightly hotel.... its on a very noisy cobled road, rooms havent been renovated as stated, there was no air conditioning, rooms were minute, dated, untidy and not particulalry clean. To top it all off the servive is pretty poor. Breakfast was €14 which is ridiculous for what was on offer.. Do your... more

Overall, the hotel is packed in the middle of an "L" shaped street that ends in two busier streets, so there is thru traffic, but not fast traffic. The hotel stands sandwiched in the middle of several small hotels on both sides of that same "L" shape street. It was quiet on a Thursday night. We slept with the windows... more

Recently returned from a 7 night stay at the Opera Corona Paris(5th/12th August 09) .The Hotel is in an excellent position for visiting Paris, very close to Grands Boulevards Metro Station, and several Bus Routes. Its set in a small "Private" Street that is very quite at night, hence a great sleep every night. There are some good Restaurants within about a 10 minute... more

I worried about my trip to this hotel having read the previous reviews about safety. We found the approach to the hotel was ok, it was lit and we didn't think the location was any worse than any small - medium hotel in a european capital city; you need to be safety concious whenever travelling and visiting cities. We enjoyed... more

And I mean my title in a very good way. I was really hesitant about staying here after reading previous reviews. My wife and I booked the hotel on priceline so we were given this hotel because it matched our offer price. I then came here to read reviews and though, oh [--], we are [--]. Hardly the case. The... more

I was is that hotel with my 2 kids in july 2007 and it was the worst choice i did. I was really sad because it was a long time I plan that trip with my kids and when we arrived the hotel was nice but when we saw the room I wanted to cry but because everything was paid... more

This is not a Vegas Big Hotel but an European traditional old hotel. Be cool to make a comment on accomodations of this hotel. 1. The elevator is small. Two persons with no luggage is full. If you have a big bag, one person at a time. Not practical in American standard. 2. Rooms are small, but this is not... more

I am skeptical of online reviews because people have such different opinions, but I hope people will heed my warning when I say - DON'T STAY HERE, UNLESS YOU WANT A TWO STAR HOTEL FOR A THREE STAR PRICE!! Let me start with the location, not great at all. Sure it is close to the metro, but the hotel is... more
