First off DO take the Paris Bus from the airport as it drops you off practically at the front door, also take it back. Cheap and efficient! At Le Meridien we were impressed that we arrived at 9 AM and we asked when we could check in (assuming noon-2) and Caroline (very nice) who helped us said that we could... more

After reading lots of other reviews I was aware of some of the older dated rooms. I got a great deal bidding on priceline $150 a night. When I checked in I was given one of the older dated rooms. I would say that the quailty of one of these rooms is like staying in a older motel in the... more

ok. I'm a patnimum member in the starwood program so I guess I expect a good hotel. didn't like the location. They didn't have my starwood info on file (which never happens) so they said an upgrade wasn't avaliable. The room was okay. looked pretty beaten up and the "queen" bed was just two single beds pushed together. there is... more

I can't believe that some of the others who wrote reviews for this hotel stayed at the same place we did. The grout in the shower was actually moldy-and not just a little bit. The smell of stale smoke hit you when you got off the elevator onto your floor, and the rooms smelled terrible as well. I would not... more

This is a decent hotel is a decent location within the city. Many sites are walkable, but be sure to have your walking shoes. I was in an upgraded room, which was very large but really just a lot of empty space that was not really necessary. My biggest advice is that there is a key slot on the left... more

We spent four nights here. The location is pretty bad, it is far from many attractions, and the neighborhood is fairly charmless. Hotel lobby is quite glamorous. Free wi-fi in lobby. Our room was small but tidy and pleasantly decorated. The bathroom was rather frightening, it looks like it hadn't been upgraded or properly cleaned since the early sixties. The... more

This hotel was fine - clean, quiet - but I wasn't wild about the location in terms of safety. It was right across the street from a huge train station (good) but came with all the sketchy people that attract train stations (not good). Right next to a grocery store (good) zero Parisian neighborhood appeal (not good). Bottom line -... more

Dear Whynotseetheworld, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Pleased that you enjoyed the comfort of our hotel. However, we are surprised by your remark concerning our location in terms of safety, given that we are 10 minutes walking from a major police station and that, thanks to the vicinity of the Montparnasse raillway station ,they are a lot...
