I booked a midweek trip for my wife and I recently and when I read the reviews on this site, I tried to cancel our two day stay, but it was too much hassle. So, I approached the trip with some trepidation, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were all friendly, spoke english and gave sound... more

I would comfirm about the rats, smelly rooms and damp carpets, air conditioning not working and rude staff. DO NOT LEAVE ANY MONEY IN ROOM AT ANY TIME. I fell victim to money loss 75Euro in fact. I checked out after 1 night stay and lost 4 nights paid accomodation. The Rochambeau ruined my time in Paris not just with... more

This hotel was booked by a company with which I had an interview for a job. When I checked the reviews I almost canceled the stay, but it was last minute, so I stayed anyway. The hotel is not as depicted by previous reviewers. We were in room 12, next to the main street. It was not noisy late at... more

They had some electricity issues when we arrived and offered to transfer us to another hotel. But we decided to wait it out, and it was worth it. They gave us a big bathroom, it was clean, and the room was spacious. The service at front desk was good too, helped us organise tours and gave suggestions on where to... more

I stayed at this hotel with my partner for 4 nights between November 3 and November 7, 2006. Our first impression of the hotel was disappointing. The lift barely fitted two people let alone our luggage, so we had to make two trips to get all our luggage to our room. Our room was very small, had a funny smell... more

Don't even waste your time looking at this hotel. We stayed at this hotel back in May for 5 nights at the start of our 6 week trip around Europe and also at the end of our trip (all pre-booked before leaving OZ, otherwise we wouldn't have gone back there at the end of the trip). Dripping air-conditioning, missed bookings,... more

The only good thing about this hotel was that we arrived 2 hours before check-in time and our room was ready. the room however was damp, the air conditioner was dripping (it was over the door so you couldnt get in/out without getting wet). the dripping was so loud we could not sleep, the staff refused to try to fix... more

WOW. All I have to say is that this hotel is much below sub-par quality. The room I stayed in (40) was probably the most disgusting thing ever. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, the A/C didn't work, and I couldn't open the windows for the smell of sewage. The bathroom was tiny and cramped, the shower drain didn't work... more

We have just returned from an unpleasant four night stay at this hotel in room 33. Both the room and dining area were excessively warm - it was so hot in the bedroom I could not sleep - in August this would be unbearable. The climate controls in the room were not working - fellow guests had a similar experience.... more

Nice little cosy place. Staff were very nice and helpful (for French ppl!) in helping us organise tours and transportation. Bellboys here were friendly. Breakfast was OK, but thats to be expected of French breakfast, consisting of croissants. Bathroom was spacious and clean. more
