The front desk was was very friendly and accomodating but the room, what seemed a tiny afterthought on the ground floor and behind the reception desk was pretty grim. If you drew the curtains, then everyone entering of leaving the hotel could look into your bedroom. If you didn't draw the curtains, you were in airless darkness. When we asked... more

The FLYBE brochure claims the Moulin Plaza runs a FREE airport shuttle to and from Charles De Gaulle airport. The 'FREE' shuttle costs 40 euros for two each way. This cost us £75 over what we anticipated we would spend. The hotel is in the middle of the red light district and should carry a warning about this.Otherwise the staff were helpful... more

in the heart of red light with so many noises of cars and drunk people screaming you'll stay up all night. the room was too small. old, damp, old fashioned decorated and more important dirty, there were stains on the mat, walls and even blood stains on the bed sheets. there was no air conditioning except an old small desk... more

15 mins away from downtown using local transportation. Clean room but small. There are two types of rooms and my guess is only the ones located in the corner of hotel are small. Service was good. Free wireless internet (ask the receptionist for pass code). Breakfast not included EUR 10/day but plenty of places to eat near the hotel. I'd... more

Absolutely horrendous! We arrived late at night and were shown our room- all I can say is that it was like a cubby hole under the stairs. It had no windows and smelled like a mixture of faeces and 'bodily fluids'. The bathroom smelled even worse. The bedding was rank. We immediately went and requested a different room- only to... more

We have just returned from this hotel which was booked by our offspring as a surprise package for our joint birthdays. Having read the reviews we were very wary re the state of the hotel and the area it was in. Area fine, was red light district but lots of people around and did not feel uneasy at any time.... more

We came to the Moulin Plaza after leaving a very dirty hotel down the street. The Moulin Plaza was clean, the staff was pleasant, and there was free internet on a PC in the lobby. Highly recommended for budget travellers. more

Not sure what other people expect from a hotel that is placed exactly in the heart of the red light district but I am glad I didn't rate tola57. We booked online and got 4 nights for the price of 3 so value was not an issue either. Hotel was clean, comfortable if a little stuffy until you got the... more
