We stayed at Astoria Opera for 3 nights in December 2009 and we were very pleased with the services. The hotel is in a great location, 2 min from Metro stop ROME, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The 3 double rooms were quite large for Paris and very clean, with a wonderful bed. The breakfast was also very good:... more

We have stay in this hotel for 3 nights its a good locketed hotel but the rooms are little, and we have stay near the entrance of the elevator so it was very noisy during the weekend. During the weekend at night was at the reception a guy that wasn't very good at helping the costumers having their key, and... more

Dirty rooms, dirty linens, noisy, ripped drapes, old scratched furniture, staff not at all helpful, worst price breakfast for what you get. Elevator cramped and scary. How can this be called a Best Western, which normally means great service and value, but not here. more

pros: clean room, quiet street, close to metro, friendly staff cons: noisy elevator (you hear it going up and down from your room) minor cons: no electric kettle in the room, a very slight stale smell we didn't have the breakfast, but we enjoyed the boulangerie down the street. more

I have stayed at the Astoria Opera in Paris a number of times now, it is one of my first choices because of its superb location above all. It has been a while since I was there, so when I went back last week I was pleasantly surprised by the improvements. They have completely renovated the hotel and it is... more

We found the Astoria Opera to be a nicely cared for hotel in a quiet part of town -- it did not seem to be within walking distance to any of the major sights that we wanted to see, however, it was very close to the Metro station -- we do not speak French, but had no problems getting around... more

As per the other guests reviews, the location was good however, the rooms were very small. You could hear the lift at all times, if someone used a bathroom in the room above one could hear it. My bag was stolen in the breakfast room in the hotel on my last day. All my valuables e.g. phone, passport etc were... more

Dear Madam, We would like to thank you for your comments and would like to let you know that we feel very concerned about them. We sincerely regret that your bag, that you left without any surveillance, was stolen in the breakfast room. We draw your attention that like in airports, trains stations and any other public area, your are...

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel looked superb from the moment we stepped out of our taxi, wonderful traditional building on a quiet side street, modern entrance area with traditional old staircase; i can honestly say i was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman, who spoke very good English, as did all the staff... more
