Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Such a pleasant stay! Hotel lobby felt very welcoming and they even have video games situated there! Location was walking distance to public transportation. It was a lovely neighbourhood to be in, away from bustling city centre. Front desk staffs were friendly and helpful too. The only bad is the coffee maker in the room. It is placed too high up and was a little difficult to access but otherwise, all was great.

3 night stay - air conditioning system was appalling - room was absolutely stifling during a heatwave in Paris of 35 degrees plus. No electric fans provided for guests despite requesting. Prices charged you can expect a cool room and good nights sleep - neither achieved due to deeply uncomfortable heat in the room and no effective AC. Opening window as last resort only provided hot air gushes and loud traffic noise from intersection below. Saw guests at reception every morning with same AC issue as myself. Staff promising AC technician review but made no difference. Very disappointing is an understatement. Did not enjoy coming back to my room after blistering hot days in the city. On the positive hotel was very clean, location good for Montmartre and Metro station opposite. Staff were all very pleasant and kind - a real bonus as otherwise this was not an enjoyable stay at all and in fact I was unwell as a result of the sweltering room and I did tell them this very nicely. I have never been so glad to check out a hotel! This hotel needs to really sort out its dismal AC system.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, a good location with plenty of public transport around it. Ubers were not to far away and got to places I wanted to visit with ease. My room was very comfortable with reliable WI-FI and air conditioning. Good shower and bathroom facilities as well. Friendly staff who spoke good English. The only criticism of the hotel really was having to pay 12 Euros for a buffet breakfast which only contained Cereal, bread, fruit and hot and cold drink facilities. I think that is very disappointing especially have already paid 450 quid on Euro Star train and hotel tickets for 2 nights. You would think it would be included in the price. But overall a pleasant stay in the end.

Trip to Paris for 3days and it was very right decision with choosing this B&B hotel. Its right in few meters from Port de Clichy metro & train st. Extremally convenient location for visiting Paris sightseeing's. Also, very close to restaurants, groceries and nice park on the few minutes walk away. Breakfast was really good for its level with modest selection and baguettes. Personnel and specifically receptionists were very helpful and kind which i found on the top. Though the rooms are tiny but its common for Paris hotels.) Overall it was a good stay.

The air conditioning in our room was not working. We then were given a room change after our first night but our first night was stifling and very uncomfortable. I would be very surprised if the air con could cope with the very hot temperatures in July and August. The restaurant provided a reasonable buffet breakfast. NB breakfast is an additional charge. However the dinner provided by the restaurant was of extremely poor quality and basically inedible on the night we ordered dinner there. Our room was not very clean, for example there was jam on the desk, a poorly cleaned toilet and no toilet brush. There were no English language TV broadcast services available in our room. The TV menu offered some but there was no reception. The overall standard of this hotel is less than expected. I have stayed in other B&B hotels that are much better. The location is convenient, especially for cars but I did not think it provided good value for money.

Only has breakfast once, and there was a decent buffet. One of our party was pescetarian, and wanted the bean salad. This was off the menu for 2 of our three evenings. The staff were helpful & friendly, but a bit confused when we settled the bill the evening before we were leaving. Rooms were basic but comfy, with decent shower facilities.

The hotel is situated at "Porte de Clichy" metro statio. Location of this hotel is at best, metro station, subway, tram station, bus station and E-bike stations are just within 100m like 1 minute walking in all directions. You will have all options to travel to anywhere in Paris without Bolt, Uber. We didn't have breakfast there so can't say much about that. Rooms are tiny as compared to other countries but that's common in France, you will find the same size room everywhere in every hotel. We stayed in Amsterdam and they also had the same size room. So rooms should not be an issue for anyone. A bit noisy because of the tram running outside but if you have enjoyed Paris the whole day then your tired body won't recognise the noise. The staff is good, we were handled on time.

When I called at the last minute to book a room, Jonathan answered the phone and immediatly made all the preparations for me. When I got there he had made sure that everything would be ready and anticipated all I could ask for. His exceptional customer service is beyond what I've experienced before, even in 5 stars hotels. Truly ABOVE AND BEYOND. Thank you for taking care of everything.

We booked this trip thru Gate1 Travel so I wasn't sure what to expect. We arrived early in the morning and did not expect our room to be ready (it wasn't) but they did hold our luggage for us. It was a little chaotic at the front desk w/ one employee just kind of standing around while a huge line of people waited. This was fixed when the manager came out and noticed all the customers kind of standing around waiting. The front desk employees were pretty helpful and did always greet when you arrived. Our room was very tiny which wasn't really a big deal as we weren't spending a lot of time there. The bathroom was interesting. The shower had a glass partition that came out 1/4 of the way so when you showered, you ended up basically drenching the bathroom in the shower water. Not a huge deal but just get a few more towels to lay down on the floor as it gets quite slippery. It was a little noisy at night. I was awakened a few times by people in the hallways but it wasn't a huge deal. It didn't continue, just seemed like people arriving from a night out. Not sure why someone would comment the subway was horrible because that is probably the best feature of this hotel. The Port de Clichy stop is literally right outside and if you download the Bonjour RAPT app, it is SO easy to get around. We only used the metro and it was great! No way would I take ubers or taxis. To me that just seems like a comment from someone who isn't confident in their ability to navigate a metro. I never felt unsafe but the area around the hotel (especially late night) could seem a little scary. Just be aware of your surroundings. The daily breakfast was nice. The staff was friendly, food was good. Probably would stay here again especially for a short trip.

B&B Hotel Paris 17 Batignolles A very fine sleeping establishment and very accommodating. I am diabetic and the room we book came without a refrigerator. They allowed us to upgrade for only $20 euros. If you forget your converter they will supply one for 20 euros. Nice restaurant for dinner but the included breakfast is not for vegans unless you want eggs and cheese. Otherwise sleeping and the service is great.
