More like a two star than a three star hotel, it is in an uninspiring part of Paris about ten minutes walk from the Gare de Lyon - only recommendable if you want the Bercy Omnisports. Me and the wife stayed one night at the Claret Hotel in Paris. We have to say this one night was not very good. The beds had very bad mattresses and the room was dirty upon arrival. For instance there was a fan in our room that had old dust on it and clearly not been cleaned for a while.... more

Travelled to Paris to see a concert at the Bercy Arena. Hotel is literally around the corner from the venue, about 2 minutes walk, which was great. Hotel itself was ok, staff were friendly but i'd upgraded to a superior room and to be honest it was very dated and could have done with a bit of a touch up.... more

A friendly welcome, this hotel had everything you need including being right by a metro station. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Staff were happy to mind luggage for us until the evening of our departure, some 8 hours after we'd checked out. Would stay there again. more

The Hotel Claret is not in the center of town, but is situated right next to a Metro stop, and works out well if you have business in the area. I arrived very early, and the staff made sure that I got a room right away, even though it was well before check-in time. All the staff were consistently helpful.... more

Ok, the rooms are average (we took a Superior one) but it's clean, quiet (you do hear the train but it doesn't bother for sleeping) and the breakfast is good.
