A small hotel in a small street. We booked and communicated via e-mail and the staff was very responsive to our questions prior to our arrival. My husband and I traveled with my parents and sister. Our room was small. The bathroom was a little outdated. However the room was neat and clean. We had a room with big windows... more

Spotlessly clean, fresh and modern room, with very nice bathroom. On the small side (and we had a "deluxe" room at that), but Paris accommodations are almost always smaller than what most Americans are accustomed to. This hotel has two great plus factors not always available in its price range: an elevator, and air conditioning controlled by an in-room thermostat... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Alison and it was great. Staff was very helpful, it was clean, quiet and cool even in August - great place to sleep off the jet lag. Walk of about 10 minutes to the metro which wasn't bad in the morning, but felt long after a day of sightseeing. Don't bother with the breakfast,... more

This hotel is situated in a street behind the famous Faubourg St Honoré with its top designer brands and antique shops so consequently it's not a cheap area and although the Alison is a modest place the room prices rather reflect the area. As with so many Paris hotels the rooms are on the small side and in this case... more

Hotel was small, but it seems many in Paris are. Room had nice decor. No air-conditioning, but that again seems common for Paris. Staff was friendly and helpful. Quiet street near government buildings so there is always a police presence. My wife and I liked the location of the hotel... it is very close to the Madeline... we were in... more

Good - there is always a police around the corner. There is also a grocery across the street. Bad - it is rather far from a nearest subway station - about a 10-15 minute walk. Without a car the best way to going around Paris is via the subway. Hotel does not have airconditioining. We were there in May and... more

Very nice hotel in a great location. Would recommend quad room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers - it was actually 2 separate rooms with adjoining hallway. more

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nites in middle of September. Cost 80 euros a nite for single room (with shower). continental breakfast additional 9 euros. The bedroom was small but enough for my petite size. Location was near metro, british high commission, L'Elysée, office of Interior Minister etc. So you can see military police around this area which makes... more

Location: The hotel is ideally located for exploring the sights of Paris. It is located very near the Madeleine, less than 5min walk from the Madeleine Metro station. The hotel is within walking distance of the Place de la Concorde and the Rue de Rivoli leading down to the Louvre. Also, the airport bus stop and the Opera district with... more
