The hotel is central and the location is its strong point. The decor is seventies and although not dated very dirty. The main problem was the smell; whilst smoking is not permitted inside reception indicated it was OK to smoke by the window. The stink was terrible, and everything I owned stunk of smoke and ash. The bed, in the... more

I mainly chose this hotel because of its location (right next to Metro stop Chatelles Les Halles) and price. So I did not have that high expectations about the hotel, which was good. Hotel room was really small and little scruffy, but clean. There was basically only bed and TV plus tiny bathroom. But that did not bother me so... more

The hotel is very convenient to pompidou, louvre, and notre dame. Metro is a block away. Think of the smallest room you've ever stayed in and divide it by 2. Constantly stepping over the suitcase to cross the room. Location is in the middle of many wonderful restaurants and brasseries. I only booked this hotel after calling at least 25... more

If you're looking for a taxi to the doorstep of a 4/5 star hotel, then this isn't for you but as a lone women on a budget, my first trip to Paris for 3 nights, I wanted somewhere in the 'hub' of things and after deciding I didn't want to be travelling in and out to the suburbs everyday, I... more

A modest hotel, which Europe has a lot. Small rooms, small elevators.. cannot pass the remark of a previous traveller about midgets in the elevators -- yes, the elevator is designed for 3 people.. 3 stardard european people.... the room was clean and so were sheets and towels. i do not know who rated it 3 stars - i would... more

I made a booking through internet for a two night stay in Paris. Upon arrival I was shocked to see that the hotel was totally under construction, all windows were covered with plastic sheets. To my dismay, the staff insisted that we accept to stay with them. I refused as the hotel is a guarantee trap in case of fire... more

We usually stay in small 2 and 3 star hotels when in Europe. This hotel claims to be a 3 star but it's not. It is old, run-down and small, even by European standards. The lift is too small to fit a personal and one bag (my carry-on bag). The circular stairs are so narrow that you have to go... more

This place is OK. Small, very basically furnished room. Bathroom OK. Staff were perfectly civil. Very central location, good for the metro. Not the place for a romantic weekend, but adequate if you need a cheap, central place to sleep. more

We passed from Paris for 2 days and we needed a place to stay near Louvre and the metro. If that is what you are looking for, it is quiet satisfactory. But in any other way you should know that: ->The room (ours at least) and bathroom are very small ->The room (the bathroom was ok) needs renovation-it looked like... more

Prince Hotel Forum is small (especially the lift, it says it fits 3 people...3 midgets maybe!), but is located in a nice area. Only 10min walk to Louvre, and the Metro is a 2min walk-very handy as the Paris metro system is the best in the world! The rooms are relatively clean, and the service was very good. Nice and... more
