I stayed at the du Casino for 2 nights in July and would thoroughly recommend it. The beds were comfortable, bathroom clean and modern. The room was a little small for 3 adults but this was expected for a Paris hotel. It had the most adorable little elevator with stairs winding around it. Our window opened onto an inner courtyard... more

Have just returned from 3 night stay at this hotel with adult son and daughter, and luckily we were out all day sightseeing and didn't spend much time at the hotel. The location is grreat, close to Metro, and shops cafes and restaurants and within easy walking distance to Monmatre, Moulin Rogue areas. However room is small and hot with... more

The best thing about this hotel is its central location and a reasonable breakfast. Its decor is fading and the rooms are small and in early July the airconditioning was noisy and totally ineffective in the hot conditions. Hardly slept a wink. more

I stayed three nights with my wife and two kids over June/July 2009. On the downside, it is a slightly dated three star, Parisien hotel. The rooms are small, and the street to the front is a busy route to Place Clichy, so can be noisy if you need to leave the windows open, as we did, during some warm... more

The rooms were compact, but had all a tourist needed. Centrally located and well priced. more

My wife and I have recently completed a trip around the world staying in a variety of hotels in 18 different cities. The Du Casino was by far the worst. As we entered the dingy foyer we glanced to the left and saw a small bar area that looked like it could accomodate 2 or 3 desperados at most. The... more

First impressions of this hotel are not good - it looks dingy and small. The rooms are not huge, and the decor needs updating but the room was sufficient for our four night stay. It was clean, as was the bathroom, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast room needs updating decor wise, but the food was good and there... more

We prepaid and booked through our travel agent for three nights. It is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in over 40 years of traveling. So we didn't ruin our first visit to Paris, at an additional expense to us we left after the first night and booked into another hotel (IBIS) not far away for... more

We just came back from a nice stay in Paris. We want to share with others the very good experience we had in this cosy and very agreable Hotel du Casino. The location is very good. The rooms were very confortable, the service and personal very agreable and specially careful to our needs. It really is a place to recommend.... more

We too, cannot understand how some of the reviews are so flattering of this hotel! we found it to be very small, dark, dingy, very oppresive, noisy, smelly and not at all clean. Finger marks all over the toilet door. Toilet smelt strongly of urine. Staff could barely communicate in English and some not very welcoming. Their directions in how... more
