Small, clean bedrooms, 2-300 yards to the metro entrance(which is fine if you haven't got much luggage). Metro is only 1-3 stops on the RER from many of the major sites if you are sightseeing. I'd probably agree that this is more a functional than holiday hotel but was pleasantly surprised by the facilities. It had a proper sized bath and spotlessly clean bathroom. About the only good things I can say about the Ibis Diderot is that it is clean and located near to a metro station. It is three or four blocks from the Gare de Lyon which makes for a long hike if you have more than one piece of luggage. When we arrived the desk clerk was surly and unhelpful.... more

We were very happy with our stay here. A great price for Paris (plus we got a discount because of flying Air France). Our room was a standard hotel room. It was very quiet and clean.
