Just back from a four night stay at this hotel (from 26 - 30 October) with my husband and our 11 year old daughter and it exceeded my expectations. The room was a bit bigger than we expected and our bed was huge and extremely comfortable. My daughter's sofa bed (chair bed actually) wasn't as comfortable but was perfectly adequate.... more

I went there with my wife for a couple of days for our wedding anniversary. When we arrived veronique made our check-in , she was cold and distant and didn't help to find our way to our room and she was occupied to answer to the phone and totally ignored us .Besides that, the room was clean, the other people... more

Excellent location - in the heart of the Latin Quarter - very central and within walking distance of many attractions/venues. Nearby neighbourhood is very hip-n-trendy with plenty of cafes and eateries. Hotel room "compact and bijou" with dated decor and a view of the back of adjoining residential buildings. Bit pricey for what the accommodation had to offer, but I... more

My husband and I stayed here for two nights at the end of July. The location can't be beat. It's very close to the Latin Quarter, Seine, Notre Dame, Jardin du Luxembourg, and walking distance from the RER to/from the airport. Yet, it is on a quiet side street directly next to the Sorbonne, which made it fairly quiet. Rooms... more

We stayed three nights and were checked at midday by a very helpful multi lingual receptionist who offered advice on everything you need to know about Paris. The room was comfortable clean and compact as was the bathroom which had an excellant shower. The addditon of a fridge in the room was great for chilling your drinks without having to... more

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights last weekend. It is located in the heart of St Michel district which is bursting with cafes and brasseries. Very well located as only 5 mins away from Metro stop Cluny La Sorbonne and 10 mins walks to Metro St Michel Notre Dame. It is basically in the heart of Paris and I... more

You will not be dissappointed staying here. The location is fantastic just minutes walk to many of the cities best attractions. Literally 2 mins to the RAR (Get off at St Michaels as its closer than Luxembourg) for Airport access and 5 minutes to Notre Dame The rooms are small and the star rating is debatable by Australian standards but... more

The hotel is in a really nice location, in front La Sorbonne, between Boulevard Saint Michel and Blvd. Saint Germain, 10 minutes walking from Conciergerie, Notre Dame, Saint Chappelle. Two minutes from subway station. Small and quiet room, size not different form other hotels in Paris. The prices are ok, especially because location, air conditioner, and refrigerator at room. A little... more

This was about standard for a Mercure. I found the front desk staff very helpful. I booked two rooms with a travel agent discount for about 100 euros each. The rooms are small, but average for Paris. It probably is not worth much more than this price. Our room looked directly to the east to the Sorbonne. I know Paris... more
