We have been returning to the Hotel Odessa since 1999 as it is great value and centrally located. The staff are helpful and friendly and while the rooms are basic this is reflected in the price. We continually refer friends and colleagues from all over the world to this hotel and the feedback is always positive. more

Every day the bathroom and towels were clean, but the mattresses are very old and awakening completely rested was very difficult. The carpet inside the rooms is dirty (just look out beneath the bed!), and very used. In the morning the housekeeper gets angry if you don't go out from your room for letting her does her job! The hotel is situated in a part of Paris where you will find little tourists, it is a place where the residents of Paris get together to get away from tourists. This gives it a genuine 'french feel'. The room was not that big (very common comment in most of the hotels of Paris), but it was very clean and the comfort room was spacious and clean. Metro station is few steps away (Edgar Quinet) but if you want to get better connections just ride metro at Montparnasse Station, five minutes walking distance (four lines of metro there).... more
