Had some trouble finding a nice cheap hotel in Paris. They all seem to have really small rooms, and when travelling with children, that can be a huge problem. The rooms at mercure raspail were a little bigger than the other hotels we considered, and we were really happy to see that there was plenty of room for the baby-cot!... more

Loved this little hotel. As a single female the room was perfect and the location was safe. It was easy to jump on the many different buses just outside the hotel to all the sites of Paris. I would stay here again without a second thought. The room was clean and they allow dogs. more

I stayed in this hotel for one night and it was very nice. The hotel room was very clean and modern, the bathroom was bigger than I expected and the guest supplies were good as well. Only negative thing is that you have to pay 1 euro for leaving your bagage at the consigne when you check out. Other than... more

Great location for Left Bank visit. Small rooms but very clean, excellent soundproofing and lots of hot water at very high pressure - a rarity in French hotels. Welcoming front desk service - they allowed me to get into a room at 9:00 AM after a transatantic flight. Breakfast buffet generous - boil your own eggs and squeeze your own... more

My wife and I stayed here to do some Christmas shopping. The hotel is very well located, being very close to the Metro stations of VAVIN (across the street) and RASPAIL (1 minute walk). The 68 bus, which takes you into the city centre, stops outside. The hotel has been very recently refurbished and is clean and modern. We found... more

A very positive surprise. I had a conference trip and my travel agency recommended this nice hotel, not far away from Montparnasse cemetary (a nice park as well!). The non-smoking room was clean and the bathroom was just renovated. My window was towards the inner yard, but I was not missing any great scenaries. I appreciate rooms where you can... more

I can't believe the review that the front desk was unhelpful. I had no problems, although I suppose I can ask for services in a non demanding / antagonising manner, so maybe I get good service in return. Anyway, the actual hotel is a typical high narrow Paris hotel, with relatively small rooms, but with a good size bed,a TV... more

If you're looking for a lesson in manners, then check into this hotel and let their rude front desk staff try to give you one. I am 34 years old and I do not remember the last time someone ordered me to say "please" prior to following through on a request I'm paying them to provide. This same arrogant front... more
