We used to stay sometimes at this hotel during the 80-90. After years, for romance, we decided to return in may-09. Bad choice. The furniture in the room was in a bad shape, just to mention. Professional staff, but not friendly. Poor breakfast. Some rooms are very small. If you insist to stay, try a room with a balcony. We... more

This is a nice, fairly basic place with a very friendly staff and a great location near St. Sulpice. Metro is two short blocks away. The room(s) I stayed in were cozy and a bit old-fashioned, but perfectly comfortable. Beds were a tad hard, but not really that bad. Breakfast every morning was fine and served very promptly -- a... more

We had a blast here. Located close to Saint Sulpice, Notre Dame, the Seine river, Louvre and Orsay Museums, Eiffel tower a little further. Plus tons of other places, but we only had a few days in all and would need months to really take everything in... Travel is easy with either bikes, canal boats, metro, or walking. Beautiful building... more

You can't go wrong with the location of Hotel Bonaparte and the unique Parisian feel. The rooms definitely vary in size (especially the bathrooms!), and some have a small terrace that overlooks the streets. Breakfast in the lobby (the only place where the WiFi signal is strong enough by the way) was traditionally French -- coffee, bread, croissants and a... more

Paris is a pricey city, but the Bonaparte is a screaming deal considering its primo location in the shadow of St. Sulpice and the rest of Saint-Germain-de-Prés. Plus, parking was included in our room rate and there was a covered car park just around the corner (seriously!) Admittedly, our room was a little tired, but the balcony was charming and... more

This is a wonderful hotel. Double room was spacious and clean. We had a top floor room with a view of Paris rooftops. Very nice. Staff was friendly. Location is perfect, short walk from Latin Quarter, cafes, art district and great shopping. more

This was an outstanding hotel in the heart of Paris. Fantastic location near upscale shopping and wonderful french restaurants--walkable to many of Paris' main cultural attractions. The Bonaparte had a terrific staff, always accomodating, with inside knowledge of Paris. Cafe and croissants each morning were delicious and a nice alternative to leaving the hotel for breakfast. The refridge was also... more

My sister and I stayed here in late May 2009 and were pleased with the accomodations. The young men at the desk were very pleasant and helpful with information. The only negative was the female desk clerk that had an attitude and was not overly friendly nor tried to be helpful. Our rooms were nice twin bedded rooms with a... more

I'm not sure where other visitors have stayed previously, but they obviously had different expectations to mine... After a booking mix up elsewhere, we got sent to this hotel as it was local and (worryingly at such short notice) had availability for Fri and Sat night. We were sent to the top floor up a distastefully carpeted spiral staircase after... more
