We spent six days in Paris at the Bonaparte. We enjoyed every day walking and looking around . The location excellent , the staff very kind , friendly and efficient . The room we found was larger than we expect, it was a nice surprise .

The gold rule in travel and value is Location, Location, Location. In this case , Hotel Bonaparte fills the bill. Located on the left bank near the Blvd St Germain, the St Sulpice church, Luxembourg gardens, the hotel offers a great Pied a terre in Paris for less money than the main brand hotels in more touristic locations.. I prefer... More

We just recently stayed at the Hotel Bonaparte in a triple room with our 6 year old granddaughter. We also stayed there two years ago when we took her sister to Paris. The very friendly staff was unfailingly kind to both our granddaughters, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect! Just a short distance from Metro... More

I had looked at the hotel online and it met my expectations. We were looking for a value and I believe that's what we received. We stayed in a triple room, 1 queen and 1 single bed. The room overlooked the street and it was fun to open the windows and hear the sound of the city at night. There... More

The location was excellent, just steps from St. Sulpice Cathedral and lots of great restaurants, stores and a block from the metro. There's a tiny elevator or a good workout walking up the stairs. Our room was quiet with a view overlooking other rooftops. Wifi access was good and the room was good-sized although the furnishings were dated and of... More

The staff was welcoming and helpful. For being in the heart of Paris, the hotel is a great value because it is within walking distance to many museums and sites and well located for use of the Paris Metro. The hotel is also a block from the Luxembourg Gardens which is a great place for run/jog in Paris. The room... More

As a solo traveler, I am frequently amused by the type of accommodations I am given in hotels, and the single bed in a corner room across from the stairs and elevator at the Hotel Bonaparte was one of those amusing accommodations. However, it was clean, there was a small fridge, the staff were helpful, and my room was cleaned... More

We stayed 3 nights on the 4th floor of the Bonaparte in Feb. 2013 and were quite pleased with the experience. The room is basic but clean and functional and affordable by big city - central location standards; decent amount of space in the room; good bathroom (except for this European thing of not having a shower curtain); good value... It was our first stay at this hotel. We were delighted, first and foremeost, with the staff who did everything to make us welcome from making reservations at nearby restaurants to discouraging taxis in favor of buses - excellent advice! The rooms were large by Paris standards and quite comfortable. The location - about 2 blocks from the Cafe de... More

Trying to book a room in Paris just a few weeks before my arrival was tough – not much availability. Hotel Bonaparte we a little more than I wanted to spend, but the location was great…lots of interesting boutiques and restaurants (especially the street right behind the hotel), and walkable to all the major sites. Rue Bonaparte will take you... More
