Good location. Friendly staff that spoke English. Loved Romeo, the cat. Room was adequate and clean. We were out most of the time so all we needed was a bed and bath. We were on the 6th floor with a balcony. Nice view. The only negative is the noise during the night. Sounds of breaking glass. Bring earplugs and all... more

I stay here every time I come to Paris, The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and there is a very affectionate cat named Romeo who hangs out in the lobby. Some reviewers mentioned noise, but I've found this is the case in most Parisien hotels - if you face the street it's going to be loud. I think... more

I found this hotel several years ago by accident. When I am in Paris, this is the only hotel I would consider in Paris. It's extremely well located. If you are gay, this hotel is either on the same block or within a two minute walk from the three most popular gay spots for older men. I can't say enough... more

I stayed one night in this hotel with my wife. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was quiet. It was cool, so we had the windows closed, but the noise of people talking loudly as they walked in the street continued all night. The breakfast is typically French ( a croissant, baguette and jam with coffee,... more

I spent last week there. The hotel is very clean, very well situated in the center of Paris, close to Opera Garnier, and the staff is great. THE problem is that it is situated opposite of the bar Chez Carmen which is open from midnight to “…” in the morning and very noisy: people shouting, singing, braking glasses and bottles... more

Location Great, near the Opera, the Louvre, walking distance to lots of attractions and with two subway stations within one block. Oddly enough for the small street where its located, I found it very noisy. Price About $90 Euros a night which is pretty reasonable for a room with a basthroom in the very centre of Paris. I also stayed... more

I stayed in a single room without w.c. for five nights. The room was a good size and it was great having a shower in my room. Everything was very clean and the shared w.c. was only just down the corridor. I didn't hear any noise in the hotel, perfect conditions for a good nights sleep. The location was fantastic.... more

I stayed at this hotel in April 2006 for 6 nights. I booked this hotel on recommendation of Let's Go France Guidebook. To book I contacted the hotel directly and there are staff who can speak English and readily confirmed my booking via return facsimile. Unfortunately my airline lost my luggage upon arrival into Paris so armed with only my... more

Just to add to all the reviews below. This is a very acceptable hotel on a busy side street, which means that the noise level can be quite high with the windows open on hot nights. (Yes, we did get one!) There is a Bar across the road which stays open all night on Saturdays and at 0500 on Sunday... more
