I stayed in a single room without w.c. for five nights. The room was a good size and it was great having a shower in my room. Just to add to all the reviews below. This is a very acceptable hotel on a busy side street, which means that the noise level can be quite high with the windows open on hot nights. Hotel Vivienne is ideally placed - about a 5 minute walk from the Louvre. There are a choice of 2 metro stations within a 3 minute walk too, so it's really easy to get anywhere in Paris from this hotel.
