This was a great location. It is conveniently located for many activities--it's very close to the metro, Moulin Rouge, terrific restaurants up the hill, it's near Sacre Coeur and the staff were all very polite and helpful. The room was small (but average for Europe) and had very modern decor. The breakfast each morning had a wide selection of food....

My wife and I stayed at the Husa Calais Montmartre from March 23-26, 2007. The hotel is located about a two minute walk from the Moulin Rouge. The Montmartre district is the "red light district", but safe after dark. Lots of bars, restaurants and sex shops in the area.

The location is great, the rooms are very bad and damaged, the light fixtures had no screens and no light bulbs, the elevator was broken for 36 hours, there were holes in the walls and the bathroom sink took 10 minutes to drain. The service was very mediocre and there was fungus on the walls.
Don't ever stay there...Pay slightly...
