What I loved about this hotel is its location. You are 2 minutes away from metro Cadet, Japanese restaurant, McDonald's and mini market; and you need only 15 minutes of walk to get to Galeries Lafayette, one of the best shopping places in Paris. The hotel itself is very small in all ways. It has tiny rooms and shallow halls.... more

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is its location, which is in walking distance to many Paris attractions. The rooms are tiny and old, the wallpaper is peeling off, the floor is crooked from water damage, the whole hotel looks like its about to fall apart. Breakfast includes a croissant, toast, butter and jam. The service... more

bad hotel from the 19' century, very small rooms,no air condition (only vents...),very tiny, small and dangoures elevator. the only good thing about this hotel is it's location (cadet metro - nearby the opera and the "gallery la fayette" - only 5 minuets by foot) and the very kind lady at the kitchen. another tip: if you accidendly do arrive to this... more

We had been looking foreward to a nice weekend in paris, but this hotel made a bad start for us. The pictures of the hotel made it look nice, clean and special. The truth showed that it was neither! The staff firstly tried to trick us into paying extra for breakfast, and when we kindly rejected the receptionist was not... more

This Hotel is located a 5 minute walk from metro Cadet which takes you straight to the Lourvre and also has a Supermarche supermarket 10 steps away, very handy for great food at very cheap prices,as it was winter we put all uneaten food straight out the window, and it was fine. Our room was on the second floor and overlooked... more

Firstly I booked through Hotels.com, paying £125 vs the rack rate of €120 (£100 at todays exchange rates)!!! A premium of 25% for using a hotel booking engine seems outrageous. Secondly they never got the booking from Hotels.com and the place was chaos as they sifted through the paperwork. I appreciate they found me a room even though they were... more

We were in a musty room with a sloping ceiling at the top of the building. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The bed covers were dirty and the room dusty. The 'white' net curtains had turned black from dirt. The bathroom was the only decent area of the acommodation, but had no shower curtain, so water went all over... more

My sister-in-law booked this trip through Expedia and I am sure I would have booked it also on reading Expedia's description. Our rooms were not available on arrival leaving us to trail round a very hot Paris having been unable to freshen up after travelling for several hours. When eventually our rooms were available in the evening we were appaled... more

The location of the hotel is excellent. 10 minutes from the opera and also 15 minutes from the monmarte. Relatively to breakfasts in France, the breakfast was good: it had croissants, baguets, orange juice, coffee, tea, yogurts, cornflakes and eggs. The room was very small but the bathroom was nice and clean. On the other hand, in the first day... more
