i spent 5 nights here in mid september. I have to note that the location is fantastic - metro is just at the door step, carrefour is next door, ATM is at the doorstep etc. but the rooms are very small. but for travellers who comes to hotel just to sleep and spend the night.. it is OK. if you... more

Best location! The train station and Eiffel Tower are few steps from the hotel. The RER Cler is nearby, so breakfast and meals were not an issue. There are two supermarkets close by where I found everything to prepare a nice breakfast by myself and some bottles of wine for evening leisure. Rooms are small, but perfect if you just... more

Overall the hotel room is small and the mattress was dreadful! However I think it was all worth it because we walked every where in Paris! This hotel is so close to the Eiffel tower, which we went to daily. We walked to the Arc di Triumph, Champs elysses, Invalides, Louvre, Notre Dame, and the Pantheon! Yes the day we... more

We arrived late June for several nights at The Royal Phare. We booked the larger room, would hate to have seen the standard room. We were given a room with a balcony, thankfully for that at least. There is no airconditioning and it was near 40 degrees during the day. The rooms are very old and tired. The shower rose... more

This is a No Frills hotel. It's located right next to Metro stop Ecole Militaire, so you are literally just steps away from a metro station. It takes maybe 7 minutes to walk to the Eiffel Tower and Napolean's Tomb / Army museum. Therefore we were able to go straight from the airport and take the Roissy bus to the... more

I recently visited Paris, my first time there, in the middle of June. We stayed at the Royal Phare for two nights. The location was absolutely perfect for site seeing. It was a very short taxi ride from the train station (you can take it from the airport) and was literally a 5 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and... more

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in May of 2009 and were pleased with our experience. This is a no-frills hotel, but that's what we were looking for. The elevator is tiny, but my wife and I could fit just fine (and I'm not a small guy). The room was clean and did not seem worn out.... more

Stayed here for three nights in May. The location was great, right next to the metro. The restaurants around were also quite good and Rue Cler (two blocks away) is one of Paris' greatest Parisian streets. Our room was typical Euro small, but both the bedroom and the bathroom had large french door like windows. Our room faced the street... more

This hotel is located right at the steps of Ecole Militarie metro station. The base of Tour Eiffel is about a ten minute walk, however you can see it by walking two blocks from the hotel. The rooms were clean. Our room was quite warm. The hotel is on a busy street so if the windows are open it may... more

You pay for what you get. A clean small room with attached shower and toilet. Room is warm enough during Winter when I am there. Hot shower is working very well regardless of the time that is being used. The shower area is considered very small but it was ok for me. There is a TV in the room with... more
