Arrived as part of a group of 34 and was placed in a quad room. Man working on reception was very rude, refusing to speak English to those who spoke no French, though it was evident he could as he one time shouted at us in it. However, as I speak French this was no problem, though he still refused... more

The location was actually a good one, real close to 3 different metro stations and also 2 minutes walk from the Grand Boulevards (plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars). Breakfast was really ok too. Besides these facts, it was a pretty [--], old and dirty whole. The bathroom was hideous, you could really see the microbiology going on there... more

When me and my friends stayed at this hotel we thought it was ok. Unlike some of the other reviews, our bathroom and TV worked perfectly fine. The beds were not the most comfortable as judging by the nights we spent there, they were old and needed replacing. One of my friend's bed actually dipped in the middle and needless... more

I thought it was alright.......alright being a bit of an over exageration. The tiles in the bathroom were cracked, there was no door handle on the bathroom, one of the party members i was with got locked in the toilet because the lock was dodgy. The television had no working channels. There were three beds in our room, (one double,... more

We stayed at Hotel Cecil for the the weekend and found that the street its on is actually quite busy all day and night with local traffic. The room was comfortable but small. The desk staff weren't very helpful when dealing with foreign tourists as they don't speak any English so brush up on your French phrases prior to arrival.... more

We stayed at the hotel during the weekend when the Tour was ending and it was difficult to find somewhere to stay. We booked at the last minute to get out of London. The hotel was good for the price, clean, comfortable, and we were happy with the staff and everything generally. The breakfast was buffet style and consisted of... more
