They were renovating the room next to ours and it was really dirty, there were floods in the bathroom each time we had a shower, there were stains on the floor and the towels smelled but the location is great, 10 minutes walk from pere lachais an 15 min walk from place de la bastille and for 60€ per night... First impressions are not good- reception is dark and dingy, the lift is the smallest I have ever seen, and the corridors are painted grey with nasty neon lights. don't normally do this but felt that we had to warn other people not to stay here. one staff in particular was not very helpful. room was disgusting in fact worst one we have stayed in during our travels.
