Upon arrival we were greated with a very rude and IGNORANT manager who first thing he said to us was, shut the door with a severe tone which made us feel really uncomfortable and patronised. he was rude throughout our stay, as where other members of staff. he had disbelieved we were even staying at the hotel!! the next day,... more

I came online to see reviews about this hotel to see if anyone else had an experience, whereby a young woman in a old fashioned redish dress hovers over you face to face in the middle of the night. I never belived but after seeing a real ghost in room 110 I believe now!! Omg, she was friendly. Previous to... more

I stayed here in May with a group of roughly 28 other students (all around the age of 16-17). It is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Upon arrival, after travelling for hours on both buses and planes, we were forced to stand outside for what must have been around 30 minutes until they got around to... more

I booked the hotel through a cheap Eurostar break online. Location: OK, room: tired, naff but clean. However the staff were miserable, rude, unhelpful and on our final evening neither my friend or I stayed at the hotel. We were aware check-out was at 12.30 and got back at 12.10 to pack and leave only to find the staff had... more

A friend and I stayed here for three nights (July 20-23) as part of a Eurostar package from London. Previous reviews were accurate regarding size of room, lack of shower curtain, and thin walls. However, the front desk staff were friendly and the breakfast room was tidy with plenty of provisions for a continental breakfast. We did have noisy neighbors... more

The worst thing of this hotel is its staff. Specially it´s supervisor... They took about 1 week to reply an email for the booking´s confirmation. When I got there they gave me a 2 beds room (while we have reserved a double bed...) The supervisor promised that the double bed would be given by the next day but... She wasn´t... more

To call it a hotel is disgusting.I was aghast to see the very small room. The bathroom had sufficient space only for standing at one place with no space for movements and very dirty. The rooms are smelly, seem centuries old, have paper thin paritions between rooms ( we were requested by our neighbours in next room to switch off tv... more

I chose this hotel from a website as I could only stay for two nights and it was the cheapest. Its location is very convenient for Eurostar and the Gare de l'Est (hence the hotel's name), and quite convenient for the main attractions. The staff were always very polite and helpful. In particular, there is a notice by the lifts... more

Easy walk from the Eurostar terminal at Gare du Nord, the hotel was as described - decent, clean, attractive enough, with the services you'd expect (except for a kettle or tea maker!). Good access to Metro, but barely half an hour's walk down to the centre - or across to Montmartre. more
