I chose this hotel from a website as I could only stay for two nights and it was the cheapest. Its location is very convenient for Eurostar and the Gare de l'Est (hence the hotel's name), and quite convenient for the main attractions. The staff were always very polite and helpful. Easy walk from the Eurostar terminal at Gare du Nord, the hotel was as described - decent, clean, attractive enough, with the services you'd expect (except for a kettle or tea maker!). Good access to Metro, but barely half an hour's walk down to the centre - or across to Montmartre. more
