We found this hotel more than adequate for our short stay in the centre of Paris, less than a ten minute walk from the 'Opera' (if you have the agility of Brian O' Driscoll and can dodge the 'shoppers' in the area of the department stores !) We would certainly use it again. more

I just spent two nights at Hotel De Dieppe. I choose it for two reasons: 1. The location is great as it's right next to the St. Lazare Metro station. There were cheaper hotels but they were on the outskirts of Paris. 2. It's affordable and I was able to use a 20% off Orbitz coupon to lower the price.... more

A bit of a shock at first but the place grew on us after several days. If you spend _very little_ time in your room, it can work. We ended up laughing about the "character" of our room with the non-working lamp that had been fixed with tape, the two others that held 5 watt lightbulbs, the resident drunk who... more

Location: The hotel is very close to a major train station and 2 minutes walk to the nearest Metro entrance. The trains can be heard quite clearly at night, but once I got to sleep I was OK. Food nearby was expensive, had to walk a bit to find cheaper food. Check-in: Very quick and painless. Staff were friendly and... more

This was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. The smallest elevator I have ever seen. Two twin beds with almost no room between them. Hot shower. But knowing it was 2 star, and going on a last minute budget trip, it was fine. They had nice rolls and jelly with coffee and orange juice every morning. My 77... more

The location was excellent, just right next to St. Lazaar station. Easy access to all kinds of transportation. The room was clean and cozy. The breakfast was not gorgeous but enough for the start of the day. The staff were friendly. I would recommend this hotel to all backpackers who need to stay close to main station. more

My boyfriend and me stayed for four nights at this hotel, monday to friday. Having read the previous reviews, we feared that our trip wasn't going to be as great as we had hoped for. When we arrived, the receptionist was very friendly. He spoke English when he heard that we didn't speak French that fluently. We had a room... more

Booked and prepaid to stay in this hotel for four nights in early May 07. Only stayed for three. This place was a serious disappointment. The reception spoke no english. The elevator was on the first floor after traversing a tiny stairway. The elevator only took one person and a suitcase at a time. The room on the third floor... more

dieppe is no 5-star hotel, but when I stayed there it was clean and nice. the rooms are very small and the the whole atmosphere is somewhat nostalgic and slightly battered. but it's more than livable. and a huge plus is the unbelivable location! just around the corner from lazare and a short walk up the hill from montmartre. more
