The location is great - and that is why we chose the hotel but from then on everything else was so, so bad. The security borders on the unsafe and we had repeated attempts to get into our room. We stayed there for a week at the beginning of September and I must say it is a perfect place to stay in Paris. The price we payed was 21 euros (including 2 euro fee) per night. Very clean place. The service was great, from the hotel staff in the front desk to the cleaning staff and lovely ladies who served breakfast. I would definitely stay at Hotel Andre Gill again and have no hesitation in recommending it to my friends. Breakfast was simple, croissant with butter, coffee, tea, orange juice and bread. more

The only thing I liked here were the cats. The toilet didn't work, the sheets had something sticky on them, and breakfast was cramped and awkward. and then they stole my credit card. They made us pay in cash but first they "tried" my credit card. I admit I should have been more careful, but I'd had a long day... more
