I cannot even begin to understand the kind descriptions of this hotel here on TripAdvisor, that pre-date my stay, except they are just that, people being kind. Where do I begin? We have just left the hotel Arley after spending 4 nights there. The rooms are basic, small and very clean. We had a triple room on the second floor room 219 which still had a view of the Eiffel Tower and we paid only 99 euro. Stay here for 7 nights with girlfriend. Very good hotel, Staff were very helpful and pleasent. Very handy to local train station and Eiffel tower is a 10-15 min walk away from hotel. In ver good location and would highly recommend it. more

The first hotel I´ve ever stayed in where the bed actualy felt (and smelled) fresh! You could actualy stick your nose in the blanket and the sheets and they smelled nice and clean! It IS a 3 star hotel and the carpet in the room is pretty unfresh (as are all soft carpets, why doesn´t all hotels have wooden floors?)... more

The staff was not helpful on several levels. The safe in the room was the biggest problem. I feel there was a scam being perpetrated because after going round and round about opening the safe for most of the morning and into the late afternoon a man finally arrived to open it. Hotel arley is built in an ancient palace, and its structure is nice, with wooden stairs and high structure.
