Just returned from a great trip to Paris with my wife and stayed at Le Marquis for 3 nights and had a perfect vacation. What a great hotel for SO many reasons. 1)Location - on a quiet/safe residential street 2)Convenience - the Metro's Grenelle station is 5 minutes, the Eiffel tower is a short 10 minute walk. 3)Food-2 great neighborhood... more

This is a good example of the modern boutique hotel. It's stylish and a little hip, while still having enough comfort to make it a practical place to stay. The supemarket across the street was a nice extra. The Erawan Thai reataurant is around the corner and VERY good. The hotel staff was low key to a fault. Don't expect... more

I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The rooms were really nicely decorated and cleaned every day. The location was the best - down a quiet street, and felt very safe. Theres a supermarket opposite if you want to get bread/cheese/wine for the room. We asked for a room with a balcony when we booked it and were were surprised... more

After searching for a couple of hours on the net to find a nice hotel in a good location at a sensible price I decided on Le Marquis and booked a weekend break with Directlinecitybreaks as a surprise for my wife. Everything seemed in order - everything was paid for and we had a JACOB booking reference. When we arrived... more

First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing Hotel Le Marquis and wish to apologize for the inconvenience you experienced last week end. Secondly, we need to explain that before your arrival on Friday August 14th, around 8.00pm, the air conditioning caused a serious water leak in 3 rooms. As Hotel Le Marquis is a small property...

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. We went on our honeymoon and were pleased with the service and their ability to accommodate our requests. The location is perfect, only a few blocks walking distance from the Eiffel, we even got a view of the eiffel from our room. Terrific! more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 days in August, and we had a great visit. The staff was friendly and spoke English. We were very happy with the service. One complaint was that the breakfast at the hotel was very expensive. So we chose to eat at nearby cafes. We loved that our room had a balcony with... more

Rooms very good size for Paris; good bathroom, very well appointed: Hassle free check in and out with courteous staff; Staying as I did in July I got a great deal for a 4 star hotel just 1km south west of the Eiffel Tower in a quiet residential area but with a great choice of cafes, restaurants and bars within walking... more

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while on a mini-break to Paris. We booked directly with the hotel, and got a superior room for the price of a smaller room, which was good. The room was a good size, nice and clean and remained so during our stay. Some lovely toiletrieswere provided in our bathroom.... more

We have stayed in Paris before, and unless you are prepared to look at 5* my experience is that the rooms in general are quite small. However, we loved this hotel in terms of it's location, peaceful rooms and it had a cozy feel to it. The furnishings were all of good quality. The room we had was clean and... more

I was looking for a small friendly hotel on the left bank when I fell for the nice reviews of Le Marquis which are dominant on this site. We spent 2 nights in it and are confused as to what on earth one can like about this hotel??? The room was small and badly decorated: gloom brown interior, dark red... more

Dear Guest, We thank you for your comment and were very sorry to learn that you did not enjoy your stay at Le Marquis. The hotel has been entirely rebuilt and decorated five years ago by an interior designer Paul Sartres who chose burgundy for the bathrooms ceiling to match the colors of the rooms. We are sorry the decoration...
