went here for my 18th birthday and really enjoyed myself. this hotel met all our requirements- safe place to sleep, leave our belonging and get a shower. for £20 per night we got a room, cleaned daily, with a sink. i found the bed comfy, the room a satisfactory size, and rarely had to queue for a shower (once in... more

do not stay in this hotel. the room was very small tatty and dirty. bed was like sleeping on cardboard and was nearly on the floor it was so low. curtains were too small for the window and the bathroom was like a cupboard youd find under the stairs. the room they give you is nothing like the one they... more

The New York Times Travel section gave high marks to this hotel as a good but cheap alternative, and it was based on that review that I booked for my week in Paris with my wife. I recall the review talking about friendly service and charming rooms. Well... the staff was OK -- not exactly friendly, but on the whole... more

An absolutely dreadful hotel. Went there with my boyfriend, we were aiming to get a cheap but decent hotel with basic facilities. When we arrived the receptionist was polite but not friendly. Our room was at the end of a narrow, pitch black corridor (this was at about 11.30 am, no windows and no working light). The room was tiny,... more

There was a music festival when we stayed here. The first 2 nights we were here there was REALLY loud music going on untill half past 3 in the morning and so we got no sleep! And on the last night some dodgey piping meant we had water pooring from the ceiling at 10pm and they didn't even give us... more

Are these people crooks or what? They refused to allow us to book reservations THREE months in advance, even while continuing to fraudulently list available rooms! Never again! more

Myself and 3 friends (all female, age 21) stayed in Les Chansonniers in February of this year and absolutely loved it. When we arrived the woman on reception was very friendly and we had no problems checking in. Was a bit of a struggle carrying all our luggage up 2 flights of stairs but it's a charming little hotel so... more

Jeezzz, the only way to survive this "hotel" is to stay away in Paris until late night, come back for a nap and get away to the city next morning right after you wake up... Ugly and dirty rooms look like prison cells, the smallest shower in the world serves (one) for about 50 people... Terrible, terrible, terrible... The only... more

When we got at the room, we meet one cockroach/bug on the bed and the smell was strong and disgusting The door of collective toilet had blood marks.Unfortunately, we paid our reservation before to see the room. They didn't refund us. We left the hotel, lose our money, but we saved our vacation in Paris. AVOID IT, AVOID IT. O... more

This so called "hotel" is worst i had ever stayed in my life! The room is cramp, you can find bloodstain on the bedstead and pillow sheet. The wall near to basin is full of mold, heater is leaking and carpet is stink. I had reserved for 4 night stays and from 3rd night onwards, there was no more clean... more
