Do not stay at this hotel unless you want to be bitten to pieces by disgusting Bed Bugs - EWH! The hotel staff are unhelpful and refused to assist with any complaints. more

My 16 year old daughter chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the La Cigale. Great little hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. Our room, on the 6th floor was clean light and spacious. The lift, as mentioned in other reviews, is tiny - like from an old film - we liked it! Breakfast was excellent and... more

Small, friendly hotel. Clean-ish rooms, if a little dated. Excellent location between 2 metro lines, nearest is Anvers about 7/8 mins walk. Nice, if basic, breakfast, friendly staff. Rooms not tiny by Parisian standards. Kitchenette with each of the rooms we occupied. One criticism: tiny, tiny lift, and with a large family plus bags there were many journeys up and... more

I've just got back from spending 3 nights at the Alba Opera. I could not find any fault. I love the location, (a peaceful, elegant haven between two bustling districts). The rooms were very comfortable and a decent size, the staff were warm, friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the Alba Opera. more

We stayed here for 6 nights in early July 09, we had two double rooms/apartments. The manager, Phillipe, was very welcoming & friendly. The rooms while not spacious (by Aussie standards) were very clean. They have a maid service every day. There was plenty of hot water in the shower. The little kitchenette was very handy, with a fridge, stovetop... more

We stayed for 4 nights in July 2009. The hotel is tucked away down a courtyard in a quiet area near the monmatre, the decor is very modern and 'arty' in the lounge and reception, though a little shabby in the rooms. Rooms are large by Paris standards, though could have done with a fan or air con if we... more

We searched endlessly for the right hotel and eventually settled on this one. We were so deligthed with it as well. Its on a quiet side street, so no traffic noise. Our room was gorgeous - far bigger than expected and had a little balcony and kitchen area. The building is beautiful and typically parisienne although the lift (whilst gorgeous)... more

I just stayed there 2 nights in a row and really regretted that I couldn't stay any longer... The hotel is nice, the location is great, it's quiet... The people who manage the place are really pleasant and helpful.... The drinks are cheap (1,5e an espresso, 2 euros for a coke)... It's a lovely place if you wanna visit Paris...... more

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. We chose the area as being between Opera and Monmartre - and it was. Metro's about 5 mins walk, buses close by and it was at the bottom of the hill up to Monmartre. It is tucked away in a sidestreet in a busy area away from traffic and street noise. Currently... more

Family with 2 teens found the Jr. Suite quite comfortable. Close to Gare du Nord, 45 minute taxi to Charles de Gaulle. Room had kitchen, but ask for dishes at front desk. New owners were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the location in the heart of Montmartre, a lovely neighbourhood of shops and cafes. Rue des Martyrs is particularly... more
