The main advantage of the Hotel de Suez is undoubtedly its location in the middle of the chic Quartier Latin/St Michel, near Notre Dame, the Seine and the Parc de Luxembourg. The rooms are OK but not to be thrilled with and as always they are considerably overpriced for what they offer (of course we are talking about Paris, buddy...)-... more

We stayed at Hotel de Suez for a week in Paris in May. First I want to say that accomodations in Europe are not the standard quality we get in North America and you have to embrace that. So, all things considered, for the price of 99 Euros per night, this was a GREAT find in the heart of Paris!... more

We visited Hotel de Suez this January. Hotel is very clean, staff is a little beat “cold” but very professional and adequate. Location is great and overall it is very good choice for such price in Paris. more

Hotel de Suez is in the heart of the Latin Quarter of Paris and could not be more centrally located for sightseeing. The metro stop is only 2 blocks away, and Notre Dame and the Louvre. Staff was very friendly and spoke perfect English. Would definitely stay here again!! more

Not sure if you ever heard your real estate agent go - Location, Location, Location! If not, then read on. We grabbed our bags from CDG baggage claim, walked up to the train station & caught RER line B to St. Michel/Notre Dame station (Paris - 40 minutes). Got out on pedestrian exit no. 2 (Cluny/St. Germain) & we were... more

Last summer (I've been meaning to write this review for quite some time) two friends and I stayed here and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They realized we were dumb 18-year-old American teens and gave us maps and told of us some younger hang-out spots in the city. It's located in a great area... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel de Suez. We had a triple room. It was a bit warm at night but we had a room in the back and it was very noisy to open the window -- people talking loudly all hours, homeless man snoring like a freight train, and trash trucks between 5-6am. Otherwise, staff were... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel de Suez over the Easter holiday weekend. Were able to get a twin room with 2 beds. Amenities are very simple, no-frills. Private in suite bathroom was functional, decent shower. Decently clean, very friendly front desk staff, great location in the heart of the Latin Quarter. If you're looking for a simple, economical... more

We've spent in de Suez three nights in room 207 (twin bedroom). The room windows overlooked a small street at the rear of the hotel. The mentioned street gets noisy in the morning (trash collecting trucks) and in the evening (loudly conversing youth sitting at the curbs). The room was clean and bright, decently decorated. The en-suite bathroom was very... more
