Found this perfect hotel for our needs (near family) on Tripadvisor. I confirmed by e-mail before we arrived after having booked and paid in advance (and read some of the angry reviews by people turned away at the door). The staff was friendly (not much English), and helpful. Rooms large enough for 2 people. Good, basic facilities in mini-kitchen. Micro,... more

The place is value-for-money...it has no "frills" but is comfy enough... when we were there, the lady at the front-desk/reception of this mom-and-pop style hotel was a pretty plump Parisian...she was brisk but friendly...was my first real encounter with a parisian...they love their language and insist in speaking in it even though u gesticulate and say "no francais" :) our... more

Good location: The hotel is close to metro station, also two mini-supermarket are close to hotel, it helps us to trim the travelling budget on food Good environment: The hotel is quiet & comfortable, it is close to famous cemetery Good staff: They speak English well, my room has found water drop from ceiling, they come & investigate the room... more

My wife and I stayed at the Citéa for 15 nights in late December 2008. We made reservations through the hotel's own website (they are a chain of French extended-stay hotels). A few days before traveling we confirmed the reservation by e-mail - just in case. But everything was OK. We arrived from CDG by Paris Shuttle (great choice). The... more

I stayed here for 2 days in early December of year 2008. Not like those expensive & sort of old so-called hotels with Paris style. This is a building with easy-going studio rooms equipped with a cosy kitchenette, just like getting a self-owned room stayed in Paris. And the staffs are rather friendly. The buffet continental breakfast (optional) is proper... more

Stayed here in October 2008 for 3 days on a trip through Europe with my mother (she in her 60s, I in my 40s). We were mostly very satisfied with our stay here. The location was wonderful, next to Pere Lachaise Cemetery where we spent a lot of time our first day (warning: if you're not good with hills, you... more

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in late October and again for two more nights in early November. We arrived in the morning after travelling for many hours, but unfortunately could not check in to the room before 2:00 pm. We were aware of this ahead of time, so it came as no surprise. We decided to walk... more

After doing lots of searches on internet, we found this hotel. Other guests reviews were good, so we choosed it for our stay. We arrived on a Sunday and Julie, from reception, was very kind with us. Our room was spacious and had a good bathroom, considering Paris standards. The small kitchen was really usefull and helped us to save... more

For the price, this hotel was good value. It was located close to a great organic grocery store and an historic cemetery, with amazing tombstones and old trees. The room basic, but quiet and clean. It also had a fridge, and some basic cooking equipment so you could make a cup of tea and heat food. The staff were freindly... more

Friendly staff, clean, quiet, American size bathroom, affordable. Located in mostly residential area away from the busy tourist areas. 1 block away from subway station and bus stop. 20-30 minutes subway ride to all the main attractions in the city. Local pubs and restaurants, bakeries, groceries, pharmacies, coin washes nearby. A great place to stay in Paris. more
