we have just returned and what can i say........................ as we arrived at the hotel we noticed lots of police outside. getting close, things appeared 'odd' to say the least. we walked into the reception and was greated by 2 men wheeling out a dead body!!! and putting it in the back on the morgue van. not a great start... more

Citea Torcy is ideal if you are wanting some better quality accommodation and a bigger room for the same price you’d pay for something crappier closer to the city. Room very basic and quite small, but clean and perfectly fine if, like us, were using it just as a base for paris and disney. I think "cheap and cheerful" about sums the place up. Stayed with a friend for 6 days, went only to Disneyland - the hotel is perfect for that, from the station just go straight and to the right from the first street and there it is! area itself felt a bit unsafe at night but had no troubles. food prices at local stores and val d europe are amazingly cheap... more
