Clean hotel, 45 minute walk to Eiffel Tower, friendly helpful English speaking reception staff, room small but consistent with European hotels, excellent breakfast with juice, yougurt, muslix, fruit, coffee/tea, and wonderful fresh croissants and jam etc. Great location, close to university, many restaurants, walking distance from train stop. more
Like other hotels in Paris the rooms here are pretty small, so you don´t have to be disappointed once you open the room door. You are paying here 95 eur for a hotel 5 minutes walking from Notre Dame, spotless clean, soundproof as any other hotel in Paris and even with nice views to the Sorbonne if your room is... more
" We stay at the hotel until noon and dirty towels were in the hallway all day. When bathing the whole bathroom is wet because there is no curtain or box in some rooms. more
Stayed here for 3 nights and will say that the price (95 Euro/night) was very good but for sure this is a BUDGET hotel. The main issue that soured my stay was with the sheets, (and no I don’t even have a thread count higher than 250 at home either). These were so rough that I had to use a... more
Yes, our double room was tiny and the bathroom a tad tight, but the plusses of LOCATION, A/C, elevator, amenities such as hair dryer & tv, and most of all the 95 euro per night tariff, made our stay at Hotel Diana practically perfect. Even though we faced the Rue St. Jacques, double-paned windows kept out the street noise. We... more
We stayed 3 nights in room 15 which is on the 1st floor, a bit tucked away from the other rooms and elevator which made it very quiet. We had to walk by the other rooms to go to the elevator/stairs and got the chance to peek in them. Ours seemed to have been bigger...at least the 2 of us... more
Conflicted reviewer. Good location, less than perfect rooms. i am very conflicted about this hotel and how to review it with "Yes or No" answers. i will start with the good stuff. Functional, quiet, central, safe, value. The price was good. There were no bugs. it seemed safe. most of the staff were friendly and helpful. it was Quiet, at... more
I stayed there for 3 nights in May/09. Excelent location and you can go to the Notre Dame, Pantheon, Jardin de Luxemburg by foot. There are many places where you can eat and buy things in a good price. As I am a solo traveler, I thought it a little bit expensive, but the hotel was great: clean, cozy, well-located.... more
This centrally located hotel on rue St. Jacques had few drawbacks. The twin rooms were small but adequate. Room 15, although up a few steps from the tiny elevator, was slightly bigger, but had an larger, updated bathroom with a glass door on the tub. The hotel provides free WiFi. I'd stay here again. more
