We chose this hotel base on the positive tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The rooms were not fancy but clean, pleasent, attractive, cozy and quaint. We took the delux double which was bigger and quite roomy. No a/c but fan was provided upon request and that was enough for us. Only time we heard neighbors was when they were... more

Stayed there second time after few years, the hotel looked older to me this time. Breakfast was basic we had to buy things from the local super market to fill us up. Room was worst than the first time I was there, location is very good but it seems owners depend only on this to atract customers. It's ok for a budget... more

We chose the d'Argenson because wanted a hotel located near the Champs Elysees but moderately priced. This little family run hotel is exactly what we needed - The Metro station at Miromesnil is just around the corner, less than a 5 minute walk. Easy access from here to the Champs Elysees or beyond. Walking to the Arc de Triomphe took... more

I found this small family hotel via TA. Its only 26rms and under some construction in the hallway . Not a problem if you sightseeing all during the day. The rooms though, are quiet, nicely done. We had two windows that opened to small balconies. The room was nicely painted, linens good shape, beds not to hard but the pillows... more

Myself and my boyfriend spent four nights at this lovely typically parisian hotel. Upon arrival we got a much bigger room than anticipated with an exceptionally large bathroom and a huge shower and two lovely little balcony-type windows. Overall we found the staff to be extremely helpful and happy to speak to us in english or french when we were... more

This hotel was recommended by a friend, and it was a great find. It's located near the Arc de Trimphe, and a short metro ride away from the Eiffel Tower. The room was the largest we had in France, and very clean. The employees spoke English, although would speak French to my husband if he preferred to get some practice.... more

My wife and I have just spent a long weekend in Paris to see the end of the Tour de France. We wanted a hotel located very near to the Champs Elysees but moderately priced. The Hotel d'Argenson was recommended to us by a friend who had stayed there three months previously and thoroughly recommended it. We were not disappointed.... more

We arrived in Paris and went straight to Hotel D'Argenson. It is a classic 2 star very French place. Huge room IN Paris if you can imagine that. Because there is no breakfast room, they serve breakfast in your room - very cool! Loads of food, too. We really enjoyed it and ofund it quite convenient between a few Metro... more

I've stayed at the d'Argenson, as have my family and friends, at least a dozen times over the past ten years, so I think I'm very well qualified to make comment. As my son said when he arrived last year after a troublesome flight from Australia, "It felt like arriving home again..." One of our friends described it as 'shabby... more

We stayed 5 nights at the end of April and were thourghlyl pleased. First the bad news, the hotel could use new carpet and a better shower. The rooms aren’t sound proof as each floor was a separate apartment that has been divided into 6 rooms. The good news is the excellent location, great price and size of the room.... more
