After a terrible experience in the "4 star" Hotel Victoires Opera (you can read my review) this hotel was a paradise. It is 130 Euros cheaper, the location is extremely good and the AC worked perfectly. The staff was very kind. The rooms and the elevator are really small, but for a solo traveler this hotel is perfect. more

I first discovered this hotel over 10 years ago and chose it above all for the quality of the welcome and the hotel staff - for me this is always the most important criterion. Ever since then they have never let me down - even when, at midnight, I came to reception looking for tools to fix my laptop they... more

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in October 2008. The location of the hotel is wonderful- very close to the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Tuileries, metro stop, etc. We found numerous good restaurants and wine bars near. The hotel is actually on a small side street, so it was nice and quiet at night. Our room looked a little... more

Of the five hotels in Europe we stayed at during this month this was the worst. The room was tiny. The floor sloped several inches. The headboard was so stained it appeared as if it could harbor germs. The towels were thinner than a sheet. The elevator could not hold more than two people. The common areas were worn. The... more

The quiet location is perfect for the Metro and within walking distance to the Louvre, Musée D’Orsay, Musée de l’Orangerie and Jardin des Tuilleries. My husband and I did not find any good restaurants in the neighbourhood, but there were a few good cafés and wine bars –after having breakfast in the hotel’s crammed, airless breakfast room once, we chose... more

Our party of three stayed here in June and were generally pleased. The location could not be better for anyone wishing to walk to the Louvre, Musée D’Orsay and Champs d’Elysées, as well as the Tuilleries Gardens. In addition, there is a Le Pain Quotidien bakery around the corner, with wonderful organically sourced pastisseries, huge salads and other meals, as... more

I stayed here with my dad and he thought it was terrible. The room was smaller than my bathroom and it only had one double bed. I slept okay that night but dad couldn't sleep at all. Unlike most of the people who have stayed here, we actually spend some time at the hotel, so this wasn't acceptable. We were... more

We just got back from Paris and stayed at the Prince Albert hotel behind the louve. The location is fabulous- you couldnt ask for better. However on our first night we were very disappointed. We knew from other reviews that the rooms would be crampted etc and we were prepared for this. Our bed was less than a metre from... more

Stayed in Hotel Prince Albert Louvre during the second leg of my Paris-Europe trip after coming down from Brussels. Website and emails stated 50 plus euros so I booked it only to be told on arrival that that was only for the FIRST night and subsequent per night was over 65 euros. What a con job. But it's in the... more

I came to this hotel after fifteen hours of flying with a twelve hour layover in Doha airport and was unable to sleep during all the traveling. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning barely aware of the existence of the time-space continuum, and maybe managed to say, "bonjour." They could not have been more helpful to me... more
