This was my first time in paris so I did not know what to expect, but I found the hotel clean, comfortable and our room was very spacious. The bed was also very comfortable, with clean white sheets ansd even though there was only one pillow each they were also extremely comfy. The breakfast was very good, ranging from scrambled... more

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights over Valentines day. I was a bit dubious after reading some of the reviews but the hotel was brilliant. It was clean, well laid out with a spacious bathroom. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was varied and plentiful and we only had a 3 minute walk to the nearest metro... more

We stayed here for 4 nights and overall it was alright for a 3 star hotel (given the price we paid for!). Finding the hotel was a nightmare though it was about 5 mins from Gare de l'Est as it's hidden except for the Pink signage (if you can spot from across the road). Hotel staff were friendly and we... more

Much better than expected after reading some reviews on this page. Warm welcome on arrival staff were very helpful and willing to speak English. Rooms average size, clean and pleasent, bathroom/showerroom small but adiquate modern and very clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from and in a unique setting of a cellar. Good position for the Gard du... more

We are a family of 4 who spent 3 nights in the Mercure Paris Boulevard Magenta. The hotel was nice and clean and easy to find when we arrived at Gare du Nord from the CDG airport. We had 2 rooms, a bit small but absolutely OK when you compare the price. The staff was very kind and always prepared... more

The positives: * Good location for public transports, very close to several subway stations * Quite a few groceries stores and restaurant in the area * Nice reception area/bar and friendly staff The negatives: * Very small rooms, even for Paris. * Rooms are no extremely clean, damaged furniture *... more

I was two nights in this hotel for business because it was near the train station. The hotel was correct, clean and comfortable and room size quite big taking into account Paris standards. Even for tourism is well located because you have two main subway stations very close: Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est, from there you can get... more

The hotel is extremely convenient for the Gare du Nord and the Gare de L'est - being only 5 minutes from either. This gives good access to a range of metro lines and the RER. The area is not touristy but we felt perfectly safe and there are a good number of eating places nearby - ranging from McDonalds to... more

I have to go to Paris once a year for business, and have been using this hotel for a decade or more. Until last year, it was named the Flora, and the TripAdvisor site has plenty of reviews under the old name. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord railway station (handy for those folks... more
