A holiday where you enjoy yourself fully and learn new things. Two wonderful chefs in John-Mark Boyer and Robert Abraham guiding us through many dishes I would never have had the confidence to attempt on my own. Nothing was wasted and my new presentation skills have been put to good use since returning home. Food I had not thought of... More

I can not recommend this course / experience enough!! The French house party gourmet explorer is fun, informative and authentically French. Having a combination of two top French chefs, Jean-marc Boyer and Robert Abraham to encourage, guide, teach and improve the whole groups cookery skills was amazing. There was ample opportunity to look, listen, smell, taste and practice as well... More

A great way to learn new skills in a fabulous setting. Although a small but 'select' group we enjoyed inspiring tuition from our master chef Robert who also took time out to take us to the local market to source produce for our cooking classes. .Great hosts, accommodation and attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble. I ate too... More

I was a bit apprehensive at first since as I was going on my own. I was going with the sole intent of learning new cooking techniques as well as to learn how to run a B&B. What a role model Moira Martingale turned out to be! She was amazing when it came to attention to detail and organization! I... More

My third visit, another inspiring writing course with Sarah. This place is like a 5 star hotel in a beautiful converted farmhouse. Personal service by fabulous staff. Bedrooms outstanding in comfort, food and wine cooked and served with perfection.Just being there is a lovely experience.I want to go again, relax , chill out and soak up the French House Experience. I arrived at the French House Party for the Songwriting Course with Dean Friedman with some apprehension, as my guitar playing is pretty basic and I'd never tried to write a song before. It turned out to be one of the best holidays ever! Our group was a mix of ages, musical skills and interests, but we all bonded over... More

I booked this at the last minute and nothing was too much trouble with a lot of help from the owner! I attended the Gastronomy course and thoroughly enjoyed, it was all-inclusive and nothing was too much trouble, everyone was very helpful and friendly and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in food, no matter what your level...
