Our over night stay at Carcassonne was very satisfactory. The evening meal in the restaurant was very good as was as the breakfast,the service was also good especially as it was all done by one girl who was covering reception and the restaurant. We would stay there again. More

The hotel is not really situated in the most beautiful part of town, but it can be found easily and there are banks, super markets and other stores closeby. We have just returned from a Newmarket Tour of the Carcassonne area of Southern France and although the hotel was adequate it was quite a distance from La cite. First of all, this hotel is out on a industrial estate, and it is really not practical to walk to the ´Cite´ from here. I tried it once, and took my life in my own hands on an unlit, unpathed road. You can get a taxi for a reasonable price, and rarely for France, you can order one until late.... More
