Hotel Montmorency is not the most fabulous hotel in the world. It shares its services with its sister hotel, the Hotel du Chateau across the street. When booking our trip we had contacted the chateau, but were redirected to the hotel. Having realized that the chateau was fully booked we finally chose the hotel based on its location. This hotel is in a great location just outside the walls of Carcassonne, however, the room is extremely small. So small that we could barely fit our 2 rollaboard suitcases.
