The hotel is part of one of the best restaurants in France, le Jardin des Sens, which is part of the Pourcel Frères chain of wonder. I believe its all in the detail and des Sens leaves too much detail to chance. The rooms are dark and dingy relying on lots of artificial light to combat the small windows. Very clever design -- they've cloaked a suburban villa in a modernist outfit and added a beautiful glass extension for the restaurant. On our journey from Italy to Spain in June we opted to stay at Le Jardin Des Sens one night to try their renowned restaurant. We returned this summer after a 2 year gap since our original visit & review on TripAdvisor. Just as good and still well worth it !
