The drive to this hotel seems industrial with construction underway, but once inside the walls; there is a sense of a rural setting. High on restored 'quaint' but otherwise rather lacking. Such a pity as everyone including the staff wanted it to be good. Breakfast was OK but supervised by someone aggressively wiping down earlier tables (at 9am - in southern France) so forget being able to talk. A great place with character and charm set in a peaceful location surrounded by fields.
