This hotel is VERY cheap (€25 a night) and in an excellent location, just of the Place de la Comedie and was clean and I had a large room with two double beds and an ensuite bathroom.

It was a bit weird though. I ate breakfast there and was seated practically in the family living room, complete with baby in playpen! I was constantly pestered by three dogs, but they were very friendly, if a little shabby... but the staff were all very friendly.

I didn't see any other people who I thought were guests, except a couple of odd characters in the doorway and corridor. Certainly no one under the age of 50. So it was a bit weird when I got two very badly written love letters pushed underneath my door from 'Franck' from the floor above. I would have told the friendly lady on reception but I was leaving the next morning so it didn't bother me.

It's put me off going back though, as I got the impression that people might use the hotel to live in for long periods as... more
