Hotel D'Aragon is less than 100 m from the Place de la Comedie, right at the heart of Montpellier. It's a small hotel very well maintained and efficiently run. All rooms have names of writers. The reception is attended until around 11pm but guests can have access using a digital code at the door. It seems that each room is... more

We spent 3 nights here on a road trip through France. The hotel is right in the centre of Montpellier but the street it's located on is incredibly quiet - despite only being a minute's walk from the Place de la Comedie. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful and there was a reduced rate for parking in the... more

We very much enjoyed our stay here. It is unassuming from the outside, in a central but quiet street, within easy walking distance from the station but very near the old quarter and the wonderful Musee Fabre. There is a small reception area and a lovely narrow old fashioned stairway. Our room was on the ground floor. We had been... more

We booked this hotel to avoid going to a chain in the city. We were a little put off when we had to negoitiate a few scruffy side streets to find it but the hotel itself was a very pleasant suprise. We had a lovely room with an outlook that made us feel that we were in french city. It... more

This is a lovely little hotel in a fairly non-descript side street, but, in less than 1 minutes walk you are in the main square, and what a great square it is! The rooms are beautiful, with lots of attention to detail and well equipped (only one negative point for me - no room safe). Service was good, and when... more

Hotel is in an older location but the amenties and room are well done. The breakfast dining area is bright and cheerful. We found the hotel to be perfectly situated for exploring Montpellier and the surrounding area, especially the Comedie. Stairs up to second and third floor might be an impediment for some. Complimentary internet access appliance was a great... more

I highly recommend this hotel! The location was fantastic- a quick 5 minute walk from La Place de la Comedie and numerous restaurants. We stayed in the room "Chataubriand" - a little balcony overlooking the street below, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, free laptop and internet access in the room etc. Although the hotel was close to everything, the rooms were... more

The Aragon was a top place to stay. Superb location, very friendly staff and a killer shower! We loved it. The recommendations they gave us for dinner were perfect. Both the staff and the hotel deserve credit for a great place to stay. For the price I think it would be hard to do better for location and quality. more

The Hotel 'dAragon is superbly situated just on the edge of the old town, in a quiet street off the Place de la Comedie, the main square where all the action is. It's also a very short walk from the station (we came by train from London) and the new part of Montpellier (Antigone) with a modern shopping centre and... more

This hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet street, but just off the central square Place de la Comedie. It's also only about a 500m walk from the train station and around the corner from the tourist office - you couldn't ask for a better location. The front desk is manned by the owners and they were very helpful (carried... more
