We were disappointed from start to finish with this holiday. We booked with friends and asked to be located close to each other. While this is never guaranteed there was no attempt to even try and put us close together despite several requests. The pool was enjoyed greatly by the children but fell short in the variety for the children.... more

A truly relaxing campsite and a great retreat after a busy day exploring the local region. Very helpful reception staff, a small on-site shop (fresh bread made all day - great for any forgotten essentials or newspapers etc), a large bar area with a small games area. Several childrens' play areas and a launderette on site which comes in handy.... more

Great family site, very safe and clean with plenty of on-site activities. The staff were excellent - very friendly, helpful and efficient. As to be expected, pool areas get crowded in height of season but nearest beach is only 3km away. we have just come back from 10 nights on the 5th august 2009 and we had a great time, the good points were a very clean pool, helpful staff, quiet park and suitable for all the family. very safe park. on the other side we ate in the restaurant once and it was very expensive and the food was awful.... more

We enjoyed our stay in Le Lac des Reves. The kids clubs were fine even if the French and English minders had difficulty with Irish first names. We've just spent a great 2 weeks at Lac Des Reves with our 5 year old dd. It's a beautiful, clean site, 10 mins drive from the beaches at Carnon and Palavas. The thing that stood out for me was the friendliness of the staff, from Reception, to the Kids Clubs and in the restaurant/takeaway. Nothing was too much trouble.... more

Lac des Reves is advertised as a 4star site. We've only stayed at 2 other sites, a 3 and 4 star and I think that this classification system is misleading and it deserves a 3 star.
