Nimes was a nice place to visit for a weekend (the archeological sites were very interesting). There didnt seem that many places to stay in the town, but its worth looking around for an alternative to the hotel concorde - it was a bit dingy, the other guests were a bit dodgy and the place was smelly (according to my wife...)
However, this must be better than staying at the formula1 or etap: they are absoloutely miles away, so I have to say that the central location of concorde was worth putting up with a bit of hardship! more
