The reviews that knock this hotel are unfair. It is a very attractive building (Provencal seigneurial large manor house) in a tiny "hameau" (town) of similar golden stone buildings just 4 kilometers outside of lovely Uzes. It is a three star hotel mot a five star Relais & Chateau place. There is lovely large "parc" with a large swimming pool... More

Simply revolting room. Terrible smell, beat up. No shower. Toilet jammed against the wall. Rude staff. Free internet only worked if I help computer against the wall. OVERPRICED dump. Maybe the worst hotel we have ever stayed at, would do anything to go back in time and NOT go here.

Spent 2 nights in October 2012 as part of a biking tour. Maybe the place had new management, but I have mostly raves for this place. Plusses: Extraordinary food (poached pear with caramel-morel mushroom sauce was to die-for), cool room layout, friendly service, huge pool, well landscaped grounded). Drawbacks: Rooms were rather dark, bathrooms a bit dated. Would stay here... More

this was the first night of a "Gourmet Walking holiday". The Chateau itself is impressive if sowwhat crumbling in parts. We got avery friendly greeting. The room we were shown to in what might have been the coachhouse looked like a cave At first we were happy but then soon realised that it was very stuffy with no window and... More

We received a "cofret Gault Millau" for a free nights stay plus dinner and chose the Chateau d'Arpaillargues in spite of the not so great reviews (it was on our way from Mazamet to Arles, and was a good location for a stop). I feel bad piling on top of the aleady poor reviews so first I will point out... More

Stayed here one night with my husband and teenage son on the night before the Tour de France passed through town. We were a bit worried given the awful reviews from Trip Advisor of late but decided to take a chance. We were blessed with a more than delightful experience from the moment we arrived. Apart from a wonderfully quiet... More

Reserved and arrived on time, it took 45 minutes before they discovered we were there...it took another 20 minutes before a drink was served. Bread came only beacause we asked for it! Tastfull dishes that only could be at that pricelevel with an exellent service.

We stayed here for a lastminute holiday. There is no doubt that the Chateau is a beautiful building, but the positives end there. Our room was dirty and shabby, and the bed clothes were not fresh. The double bed was two single mattresses laid onto a double bed base - really uncomfortable. The dirt extends to the outside areas, where... More

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, Further to your comments on TRIPADVISOR website, we are surprised that you didn’t inform the reception about bed clothes and kind of beds, we could change you the rooms as we offered to you at the departure. Concerning the insects in the bed, we checked that with a professional society allowed to do controls and they... More

Our family of four stayed here for two nights and loved it. Our family room consisted of a queen size bed, with two single beds on a mezzanine level. Whilst the room was a bit dated it had loads of character. There was no lift to our accommodation which was up a few flights of steps towards the back of... More
