I stayed at this one-star hotel on my first trip to Limoges in June, 2004, having gotten the name from Let's Go-France. I had a basic, comfortable, room, with good bathroom. The owner is helpful and friendly, and the room quiet. I enjoyed my stay, and had no problems.

It is an easy walk from the train station, but about a 5 minute walk to Place de la Jourdan, where the sites start. Still within easy walking distance of seeing the whole city, but an extra 5 minutes coming and going.

I stayed at the Hotel de la Paix, place de la Jourdan on my last trip. It is worth the extra money, but only if you have it.
However, if you are on a stricter budget, definitely stay here, it is a bargain for the price.
