Staff not friendly AT ALL! They said that no one spoke english, however the next day I overheard that same desk clerk speaking on the phone to someone in English.....so they also LIE! This hotel was under TOTAL RENTOVATION> Electrical wires hanging everywhere, No A/C, had to leave the windows open....fly's everywhere, no shower curtain, minimual hot water. I was going to Metz for business and booked 2 weeks at the hotel. I ended up leaving after the first night. There is a huge difference between "quaint" and "old". This place was old. The carpet in the rooms and hallways is stained. The bedding was faded, everything looked like it desperately needed a makeover. The shower didn't work... more

Very, Very noisey. All of Metz is nothing but road traffic. The hotel was OK. Nothing fancy at all. Basic room with a basic bathroom. Staff did not speak English that well. The property is kept up in an "OK" manner. Would not stay at this property again. Pick a chain hotel in the city. more
